This seasons been great when it comes to slice of life shows and so far I'm watching My Hero Academia, Tanaka-Kun is always listless, Shonen Maid, Sansha Sanyo and Kumamiko. Might add a couple more later in the season but I've still got a massive backlog of shows from back when Madman did that huge sale I should really start getting through.
Really hoping My Hero Academia does well, I care more about Izuku in three episodes than I do for Saitama in all the Manga so far.
Once again I have early season optimism of how much I can watch...or have been so indecisive that I decided to try everything. Either way I'm watching way too many shows so far and most of them have been good! (I dropped Ace Attorney for being boring and Cerberus for not being interesting enough).
I HIGHLY recommend Flying Witch. It's my early (unexpected) favourite. But I'm also enjoying Joker Game, Bungou Stray Dogs, 12-sai, Shounen Maid and a few others.
Also still watching some older shows, including the last JoJo so I can get started on this one soon (hopefully!)
I'm running with the opposite of what you are, Frankie XD
I've decided that this season I'm simply sticking to three series: My Hero Academia, Diamond Is Unbreakable, and Ushio And Tora just because I need to finish it, we're only a handful of episodes until the end, and even though I'm not particularly liking what's going on, I'll stick with it until the finale.
Crystal was super optimistic about her watch list, but she's quickly fallen off the rails. Now she's just watching My Hero Academia and Diamond Is Unbreakable. She had a list of, I think, seven Anime she wanted to watch...that list is now much shorter XD
I'm sure you and Crystal will also do a MUCH better job at keeping up than I will! I had planned to watch less, because I finally managed to do so last season and it was much easier to keep up and finish on time!
Seems Zephyra is the only one I can do any chatting with about shows until I catch up on JoJo!
I do honestly find it quite a chore to keep up with multiple Anime every single week, especially if they're series I'm watching "just because", so this time around I'm just sticking to my three most anticipated. Usually I catch up on other series' once the home video release comes out and we get a review copy. That was the case with Log Horizon for me. I know it's an older one, but when I first watched the premiere I was like "eh, we'll see", and so I never kept up with it, but then I got the home video release and I was totally into it. I suppose I'm very fickle when it comes to what I want to do; some weeks I'll just wan to read Manga and nothing else, other weeks I'll just want to play games, so keeping up with an Anime every day can sometimes be hard.
I know...I'm a little odd, right? XD
Speaking of which; I should probably get my act together and continue reading Rurouni Kenshin.
I Still need to get around to watching JoJo fully, I think I watched the first few eps of Stardust Crusaders when it aired just to see what the fuss was about but I can't remember why I stopped watching it. That was at a time when my season average was about 12+ shows however, Can't stand doing that any more haha!
The only downside to the five I'm watching is that they all release on the weekend+Monday leaving me with nothing to watch during the rest of the week.
While initially it looked like I'd pick up a lot I feel embarrassed for riches because there is just so much good stuff to choose. Unfortunately I haven't got the time for them all so a lot will be on the backburner until a dead season pops up and I can catch up.
Just a quite note to say YOU ALL SHOULD BE WATCHING BUNGOU STRAY DOGS! I saw in the watch guide video that Kane is watching and Luke was intrigued, you gotta get on it! First two episodes I was all 'oh this is fun, comedy is pretty good, some interesting characters' but I just watched the third episode it and it all kicked off. Big action scene, evil guy introduced, it got DARK. I'm now super excited for where this is going to go. So make sure you guys watch to episode three before you make up your minds.
